The cottage was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with cozy bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. the location was fantastic, with easy access to the nearby Beaulieu museum and a short walk to Hatchet Pond for stunning sunsets. the big garden was a plus, perfect for stargazing and watching bats at twilight.
The ceilings were quite low, especially upstairs, which may be an issue for taller guests. some guests experienced limited network coverage for making calls, although connecting to WhatsApp and the internet was not a problem.

We visited for a late Mother's Day trip and found the cottage to be very welcoming, clean, and comfortable. The fully equipped kitchen was a bonus and the bedrooms were cosy with extra blankets for colder evenings. The location in a quiet village surrounded by friendly people was perfect. Our host Sam was helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. There were plenty of activities and great eateries in the surrounding areas, making it a fantastic choice for a getaway.

We had a great Christmas at this cottage! The beautiful garden was a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy some festive drinks. The location was perfect, with easy access to Hatchet Pond for lovely walks. And let's not forget the company of the wild horses and donkeys that paid us a visit every day, it was such a unique and magical experience.
The layout of the cottage was a bit inconvenient. The bathroom being downstairs while the bedrooms were upstairs made it challenging, especially during nighttime visits.

The location was stunning, nestled within the beautiful New Forest with gorse in full bloom. the nearby pub was a great spot for a relaxed meal and had a good choice of food. the cottage had a well-maintained garden, providing a peaceful and private outdoor space. Inside, the cottage had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay.
Some taller guests may find the low ceilings a bit tricky, particularly in the bedrooms. a slip mat in the shower would have been helpful.
